As an open source project and a not-for-profit, Mozilla is strongly dedicated to being transparent as an organization, in our processes, products, and day to day business.
As the stewards of the Firefox family of applications and platforms, and several powerful new services, security has become increasingly more important.
This session will provide insight into how Mozilla handles security as a contributor to the open source community, and how we protect the integrity of our mission while being as transparent as we can.
Yvan Boily has spent the last decade working in the Information Security field as a consultant, in government and finance. After becoming disillusioned by the conventional practice of security, Yvan joined Mozilla where he has worked since 2011 to help improve the security of Mozilla products and services, and lead the creation of Minion, an open source security automation platform.
