Abstract
Nightingale is a fork of Songbird, a media player once created by people from Winamp/Yahoo/Mozilla. Nightingale is developed by a small community aiming cross-platform support particularly GNU/Linux. We will talk about how we run a fork, manage contributions and on what we work for to improve our player.
Biography
Martin Giger is a student from Switzerland. Nightingale is the first Open Source collaboration project he works on, however many private projects of him are Open Source as well. Open Source Software is a term he grew up with and believes in.
Antoine Turmel is a software developer in sandwich course from France. He love Open Web technologies and work on several open source projects like Nightingale and Mozilla.
